As expected, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), claimed the two awards in the monthly League Bloggers Award (LBA) for the month of December.
An impressive run of form in the monrh which saw the team win all five matches, expectedly earned the team’s gaffer, Gbenga Ogunbote the Manager of the Month Award.
Oracle beat the trio of Daniel Ogunmodede of Remo Stars, Greg Ikhenoba (Bendel Insurance) and Finidi George of Rivers United to the honour.
In the Player of the Month category, goalkeeper Mustapha Lawal overcame stiff opposition from teammates, Desmond Ojietefian and Ikouwem Utim as well as the duo of Remo Stars’ Ibrahim Shuaib and Chijioke Alaekwe of Akwa United to grab it.
It was a well deserved reward for the Black Spider who refused to allow any goal into his net in all the five matches played in the month of December.
