In a significant development, the new recruitment of Primary School teachers in Oyo have begun receiving their provisional appointment letters in their various local governments headed by education secretaries; this marks a major milestone for the educators who have been eagerly waiting for confirmation of their employment.
The distribution exercise takes place at Aafin (Local Government Universal Basic Education Authorities) LGUBEA, Atiba local government areas, Oyo, Oyo State.
The teachers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Job Portal, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr ‘Seyi Makinde for approving their provisional teaching appointment, paving the way for them to commence their teaching duties with immediate effects.


While congratulating the teacher, the Atiba Education Secretary, Mr. Salam Wasiu, applauded the executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr ‘Seyi Makinde FNSE, GSSR, for approving the appointment to fill the vacant positions in the education industry in Pacesetter State.


He equally commended the Chairman of Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, for displaying a high level of professionalism in the recruitment process, which was conducted transparently and fairly, attracting qualified candidates from across the State. This new teacher will undoubtedly bring fresh perspectives and skills to the classroom, enhancing the overall quality of education.

Atiba Education Secretary further admonished the newly recruited teachers to display a high level of integrity, patriotism, commitment, and professional diligence in their duties as Tutor Grade II (level 08) officer ranking and Master Grade III (level 07) ranking, respectively.

Mr. Salam, however, advised them to be creative and game-changing teachers for the future of the pupils at the elementary level of education which is regarded as the foundation level of a brighter future. Stressing that all the provisional teachers should report to their assigned schools immediately as the new academic term commences.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Miss Aderonke Zaynab Ayankoso described the appointment as a dream come true and a new chapter in her teaching career, thanking the Governor for providing her with the opportunity to contribute to the development of the state’s education sector.

She said the appointment is a testament to the Governor’s commitment to empowering educators and providing them with the necessary support to excel in their careers.
