Technical Adviser of high flying Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Gbenga Ogunbote and his boys will be gunning for a win over Kwara United FC of Ilorin, to keep alive the target of a strong finish this season.

In Sunday’s matchday 19 fixture, the in form Oluyole Warriors, welcome the Harmony boys to the Lekan Salami Stadium which has become a slaughter slab for visiting teams.

Previewing the match after last Sunday’s 1-0 win over Rangers International in Enugu, the Oracle, as the 3SC gaffer is fondly called, said his side will approach Sunday’s game against Kwara United with utmost seriousness.

“It is another game, every game is important and like I always say, our aim is to finish strong this season and in achieving that, positive result from every game is important.”

The Ibadan soccer lords will be banking on their current form, which has seen them win their last four games, coupled with winning their last six home matches without conceding a goal in five, to overcome the visitors.

Coach Ogunbote admitted that it will not be victory on a platter of gold, but expressed optimism that his side will be good enough to secure another win.

Going into this match, the Oluyole Warriors are placed third on the log with 30 points from 18 matches, while Kwara United occupy the 12th position with 23 points from 17 games.
