The Chairman, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.

In his Christmas message, Ogundoyin urged Nigerians to spread love amongst themselves, in line with the central message of the birth of Jesus Christ

He also emphasized kindness and tolerance amongst residents across the country.

According to him, Christmas is a time to give, love, and promote goodwill and understanding amongst ourselves.

He emphasized the importance of observing Christmas with piety and extending love to one another, noting that it’s not just a day, but a season of joy, happiness, and abundant love.

Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin decried the level of animosity and hatred in the country, urging Nigerians to avoid ethnic and religious bigotry and instead promote love and togetherness at all times.

He stressed that people who spread love tend to be happier and have a more optimistic view of life.

“As we celebrate the 2024 Christmas, we all need to spread love at all times. Nigerians need to reflect on the values of Jesus Christ and strive to make a positive impact in their communities. By spreading love and kindness, we will create a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come.”

The Chairman, Conference of Speakers, noted that Jesus Christ came to the world as a demonstration of God’s love, and therefore, Nigerians should remember to show love to themselves.

He wished all Nigerians a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
