Princess Afolashade Abeo Nurudeen, a renowned international market leader and Oyo-born business tycoon, has commiserated with the families of the victims of the Basorun stampede.

The tragic incident, which occurred on Wednesday in the Bashorun area of Ibadan, claimed the lives of many children who had gathered for a carnival. The stampede, which was triggered by a rush to enter the event space, resulted in multiple fatalities, with many children feared dead.

Princess Abeo, who is also the MD/CEO of Ur’Image Couture Head to Toe, expressed her deepest condolences to the families of the victims. “I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives at the Basorun stampede. My heart goes out to the families of the victims, and I pray that God grants them the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”

As a respected business leader and philanthropist, Princess Abeo has consistently demonstrated her dedication to giving back to her community and supporting those in need.

The Basorun stampede has sent shockwaves across Oyo State, with many calling for measures to prevent such tragedies in the future. As the people of Oyo State mourn the loss of lives, Princess Abeo’s commiseration with the families of the victims serves as a reminder of the importance of community and compassion in times of grief.
