Strengthening Ties: Youth Agency Chairman Adebowale’s Visit To DSS Paves the Way For Future Collaboration, Ahead of 2025

Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, the Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youths Development together with the Executive Secretary, Youth development Officers has paid a courtesy visit to the Department of State Security Services (DSS) to discuss various ways to improve partnership in fostering collaboration between the two organizations, ahead of 2025.

Prince Falana was ably received and led by the Director Mr. Adeyinka Adelakun, of the Department of State Security, Oyo State command.

Speaking at the visit, Hon. Adebowale, emphasized the importance of of building a strong relationship between the youth agency and the DSS, citing the need for collective efforts to address the challenges facing the young people in Pacesetter State and the nation at large.

He reiterated that the motive for this courtesy visit is to streamline with His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde’s FNSE commitment to the promotion of peace and unity, as well as youth development, empower them for a brighter future, where Pacesetter State is leading the crusade.

In his goodwill remarks, Mr. Adeyinka Adelakun, Director of the Department of State Security Services, Oyo State Command, lauded the youth Agency Chairman’s courtesy visit aimed at fostering partnership and state development ahead of 2025.

The Director expressed the command willingness to collaborate with the Youth agency, recognizing the critical role that young people play in shaping the country’s future.

Equally, the Director of the Department of State Security, in turn, presented a plaque to the chairman in recognition of the agency’s effort in the promotion of peace and unity in the state.

While reacting to the honor bestowed on him, Hon. Adebowale expressed his gratitude to the DSS and pledged to continue working towards the development and empowerment of young people in Nigeria.

Areas of discussion and collaboration were; youth empowerment programs, Skills development initiatives, and community outreach projects.

In the entourage of the youth agency are: Executive Secretary Mrs. N.B Olayinka-Muraina, Director of Administration, Chief of Staff Engr. Femi, Yisahu Solomon, and several others.
