OIKF —Omo Iya Kunmi Foundation, a non-governmental organization in Oyo town, is proud to announce the commencement of her fifth free vocational training and skills acquisition program today, December 9, 2024, which is aimed at equipping individuals with essential skills for economic self-sufficiency.
The free vocational training and skills acquisition program is geared towards empowering individuals in the Oyo community and its environs in a bid to guarantee self-employment for the fruition of SDG 1—which is ‘no poverty’.

Starting tomorrow, the empowerment program will welcome youths, middle-aged and unemployed individuals who are passionate about breaking barriers.
As widely known for supporting the less privileged and the vulnerable, the free vocational training will support the ten best participants with N10,000 each, and certificates of participation will be unrestrictedly issued to every participant.

The participants would have unlimited access to getting trained by the best hands in vocational skills across the stated areas—paint making, vaseline, perfume production, admire and Kampala making, cakes and confectioneries, and so on.
Omo Iya Kunmi Foundation, OIKF, is dedicated to fostering change through innovative programs. This initiative aligns with our mission to uplift marginalized communities and promote economic growth. We at OIKF will be looking forward to hosting our esteemed participants tomorrow at the Foundation’s office—Old National Bank, Owode, Oyo.
