Hon. Kazim Adeniyi Adeyinka Bibire, former Special Adviser to Governor ‘Seyi Makinde on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, has lauded the governor for his visionary leadership and commitment to the transformation of local governance in Oyo State.

The recent approval for the conversion of ad-hoc workers to permanent staff across the 33 local government councils is a significant step towards workforce stability and improved service delivery.

“Governor Makinde’s decision to make ad-hoc staff permanent is a bold and commendable move that will greatly enhance the efficiency and morale of our local government workforce.

This is a clear indication of his dedication to creating a stable and motivated workforce capable of delivering excellent services to the people,” Bibire stated.

Hon. Bibire also praised the governor for the inauguration of the newly-built Local Government House and Staff Training School at Agodi Secretariat.

“The new complex is a monumental achievement that will provide a conducive environment for staff training and professional development.

Governor Makinde’s innovative approach to local government administration is evident in this and many other projects he has championed,” he noted.

Governor Makinde’s administration has also made significant strides in addressing the backlog of salaries, pensions, and gratuities.

“The payment of over N18 billion in pension backlogs and over N15 billion in gratuities to retirees is a testament to Governor Makinde’s commitment to the welfare of our workers.

His collaborative efforts with local government councils have led to the upgrading and equipping of primary healthcare centers and schools, thereby improving the quality of life for our citizens,” Bibire added.

Hon. Bibire called on the people of Oyo State to continue supporting Governor Makinde’s administration.

“Governor Makinde’s visionary leadership and dedication to the development of Oyo State are unmatched.
