Oyo township, Oyo State – Ambassador Olaoluwa Ogunniyi Fastlane, on Sunday, commissioned a borehole, streetlights, and inspection of an ongoing painting of the Oyo Central Mosque complex as part of his efforts to contribute to the development of the community.
The young, versatile Ambassador Ogunniyi launched a trio of transformation projects in Oyo township under his foundation tagged “Olaoluwa Ogunniyi Fastlane Foundation (OOFF), cementing his legacy as a champion of progress and prosperity.
The ambassador, who is also a prominent and key figure in the Oyo federal constituency, inspected the ongoing painting of the Òyó central mosque, which is expected to be completed soon.
While speaking during the Commissioning, Ambassador Ogunniyi Olaoluwa, “Today marks a significant milestone in our journey towards a better future, I’m proud to contribute to the growth and well-being of our community, providing a modern Motorized Borehole in memory of my late father, Hon. Gbadegesin Ogunniyi, while I’ll continue to strive for excellence in all my endeavors”.
With the Commissioning of a state-of-the-art borehole, Street lighting, and painting of Oyo Central Mosque, ambassador Olaoluwa has addressed the critical needs of the community, Muslims Ummah, providing access to clean water and enhanced security through illumination.
Ambassador Olaoluwa said the projects were part of his contributions to the development of the community and the state as one of the core values of his non-governmental foundation.
“I am committed to supporting the growth and development of our community, and I will continue to do my best to make a positive impact; we rise by lifting others,” he said.
Aside community development, Ogunniyi Fastlane Foundation has empowered over 150 widows across churches and communities in Oyo federal constituency, to mention view among were; First Baptist Church Isokun Oyo, First Baptist Church Awe, Methodist Church Fiditi, Catholic Church Asogo, Spring of Joy C & S (aka Iya ayo gedu scheme Oyo West), Emmanuel Baptist Church, C& S Church Ogo – Oluwatedo olokomeje area, Glory Declared Ministry Mobilize, Fountain Baptist Church Cele and several others
Also speaking on behalf of the late Chief Imam of the Oyo Central Mosque, Ustaz Abideen Abolore, praised Ambassador Olaoluwa for his generosity and commitment to the community.
“We are grateful for the ambassador’s support and kindness. These projects will greatly benefit our community and we appreciate his efforts,” he said.
Reacting to the Borehole Commissioning, Baba Adebayo S. Fayemi lauded the OOFF foundation under its founder, Ambassador Ogunniyi Fastlane, for giving back to his community, especially his family compound, stressing that he has shown that charity begins at home.
Baba Adebayo further maintained that Ambassador Olaoluwa has illuminated the community with light praying for more prosperous years and longevity of life on his belated birthday celebration.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by prominent Muslim leaders, community members, and government officials.
