Lagelu Chairman, Hon. Kamorudeen Inspects Wofun Road Project Construction Site

The Executive Chairman of Lagelu local government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen has conducted an inspection tour of the Wofun Road project site to oversee its initial stages. The project, currently in its infancy, has commenced with general grading activities aimed at preparing the groundwork for future construction.

During his visit, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far, emphasizing the importance of the Wofun Road project in enhancing the connectivity of local communities within the local government area. He highlighted that the project aligns with the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure for the benefit of residents and businesses alike.

The Chairman also noted that the commencement of general grading marks a significant milestone in the project’s timeline. He assured stakeholders and community members present at the site that the local government is fully committed to ensuring the timely completion of the road, which is expected to alleviate transportation challenges in the area upon its completion.

Furthermore, Hon. Kamorudeen urged the contractors to adhere strictly to quality standards and timelines stipulated in the project agreement. He emphasized the need for transparency and accountability throughout the construction process to guarantee that public resources are efficiently utilized for the benefit of the community.

The council chairman further reiterated his administration’s dedication to prioritizing infrastructure development across the local government area. He affirmed that projects like the Wofun Road initiative underscore the government’s resolve to foster socio-economic growth and improve the overall quality of life for residents.
