In a bid to enhance governance and service delivery, the Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen has assigned portfolios to newly appointed Supervisory Councilors and Special Assistants.
The announcement, which came following their appointments last Friday, aims to streamline administrative functions and ensure effective implementation of policies across various sectors.
The Supervisory Councilors and their respective portfolios are as follows:
- Tijani Iyabo Sarah – Health
- Olaniyan Hammed – Revenue & Investment
- Femi Fabunmi – Works
- Sunday Olumide – Finance
- Abiade Rotimi – Education
- Badmus Teslim – Transport
- Odunade Ibrahim – Information/Culture, Youth & Sport
- Bello Lukman – Agriculture
- Ademakin Aderemi – Project & Monitoring
- Mustapha Yusuf – Environment
- Adedeji Ademola – Community Engagement/Special Duties
- Bioku Benjamin – Security Matters
- Dada Christiana – Women Affairs
- Wole Fatoki – Inter-party Affairs
Additionally, the Special Assistants appointed were assigned to support specific areas crucial to community development and governance— as follows:
