Olufade Swears-in New Supervisors, Special Assistants In Ibadan North LG

In a significant political event held at the Ibadan North Local Government registry building, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, inaugurated new supervisory councilors and special assistants.

This inauguration followed the successful screening of the appointees by the legislative arm of the local government, led by the Leader of the House, Hon. Adebola Taiwo.

The event began with opening remarks by Hon. Ogunsina Michael, the PDP Youth Leader in Oyo State, who also hails from Ibadan North Local Government.

In his remark, Hon. Ogunsina urged the new appointees to work collaboratively to support the Executive Chairman’s efforts and to be exemplary ambassadors of the local government.

Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, in his address, expressed his gratitude to the political figures and department heads from Ibadan North Local Government, Aare Latosa LCDA, and Irepodun LCDA who were present.

He emphasized the importance of unity among the new appointees, especially as some were drawn from the opposition party. He called on party leaders to embrace the new members as part of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Hon. Olufade also addressed those who were not appointed, encouraging them to remain patient and dedicated, sharing his own journey to becoming chairman.

He highlighted the need for the new supervisory councilors and special assistants to prepare diligently and work hard to ensure the PDP’s success in the upcoming Federal House of Representatives by-election.

The oath of office was administered by Pastor Ibukun Oluwaseun Dada, the Head of Administration at Aare Latosa.

Following the oath-taking, the Vice Chairman delivered a vote of thanks, marking the conclusion of the inauguration ceremony.

Folajimi Oyekunle Don; House of Assembly members Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel (Ibadan North Constituency 2) and Hon. Olufunke Comforter (Ibadan North Constituency 1); Hon. Ademola Omotoso, Chairman of Oyo State Housing Corporation; Hon. Abiodun Awoleye, Chairman of Primary Health Care; Hon. Adebowale Falana, Chairman of Oyo State Youth Development Agency; Hon. Adeniyi Adeyinka Kazim Bibire, former Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters; Hon.
