In a significant milestone to ensure a productive journey towards excellent service delivery, the Executive Chairman of Oyo East local government, Hon Oluokun Peter Olusola has completed a comprehensive staff audit within the council area, Kosobo, Oyo.

The staff audit was part of the newly elected Chairman’s ideology to ensure that the staff are accountable for their work in carrying out day-to-day activities as expected.

According to the statement released and made available to Heritage Echo News on Friday Oluokun disclosed that the exercise was aimed at improving the welfare of the staff, enumerations, and well-being as against the rumor of laying off staff and Ad-hoc Staff of the Council.

He further disclosed that the auditing has identified areas of inefficiency and opportunities for the process to fine-tune improvement to ensure optimal allocation of resources, streamline the process, reduce waste, identify ghost workers, and maximize productivity.

He proclaimed that the exercise exposed and identified areas where additional training or support may be required to enhance staff capacity and effectiveness.

“This process involves engaging with the employees through interviews, performance evaluations, and reviewing job responsibilities.
Oluokun further assured that the feedback of the exercise will be taken into consideration and addressed properly.
