Ecstasy As Asiwaju General of Ona-Mogba Land in Òyó empire, Chief (Dr) Kolawole Adewoyin bagged the Rotary Club of Ibadan distinguished award of Excellence.
The renowned Oil Mogul and Businessman was honored on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the Rotary Club of Ibadan building, Iyaganku, Ibadan, Òyó State capital.
Explaining the reason for such monumental honor, the President of the Rotary Club of Ibadan, Rtn Kolawole Shittu Adebisi PHF reiterated that the distinguished service award bestowed on Dr Adewoyin was in recognition of his contribution to peace and conflict resolution in the country.
Other Awardees at the event include; former deputy governor of Oyo state, Gbolarumi Hazeem, Chairman, Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission, Isiaka Olagunju, Registrar, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Professor Josiah Ajiboye, Director General Abuja and Lagos Liason office, Hon. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, President, Ohaneze Ndigbo, Oyo state chapter, Chief Ndubiusi Okorie, Past President Rotary Club of Ibadan- Challenge and founder Akande Tunde Movement, Dr Kazeem Akande, Past President, Rotary Club of Ibadan Jericho- Metro, Samuel Kolawole Chief Executive Officer, Omotayo Charity Foundation, Olapeju Agunbiade, Chief Executive Officer, Atinutobi Foundation, Kikelomo Idowu and Past Assistant Governor, Rotary Club of Ibadan, Isaac Ajibike among others.
He also added that Chief Dr Kolawole Adewoyin has been a great supporter of Rotary Club Ibadan.
While receiving the award, Chief Dr. Kolawole Adewoyin commended the Rotary Club of Ibadan for the honor and also promised to continue to support the club and further contribute to the development of humanity.
Chief Adewoyin who is the legally recognized National President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), is also the President of the Private Depot and Oil and Gas Association of Nigeria (PDOGMAN).
He is also one of the illustrious sons of Oyo town who has been contributing to the overall growth and development of Oyo kingdom, Ibadan, Lagos, and Abuja where he has established businesses and employed many.
He is the Chief Executive Officer of Shiata Guest House, Kolly Shiata Petroleum, Chairman of AAA Adewoyin Petroleum, Aare Gbolaga of Iseyin Land, and Asiwaju General Ona Mogba of Oyo Kingdom.
Also honored with awards at the event were Aare Musulumi Of Oyo, Aare Adebayo Ahmed Kamarise, and other notable Nigerians.
