In less than 11 days to local government elections in Oyo State, Akunlemu Motor Spare Parts Association has thrown weight behind the candidature of all Chairmanship candidates in Oyo Federal Constituency, promising to deliver bloc votes for both chairmanship and Councilorship.

This was disclosed today, during a closed-door meeting with Atiba Chairmanship Candidate, Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji Wabkem, and Òyó East candidate, Hon. Oluokun Peter Olusola at Akunlemu garage, Oyo, Oyo State.

Speaking at the marathon meeting, the President of Akunlemu Motor Spare Parts Association, Alhaji Adedeji Isiaka Alala reiterated that the association will not only give their maximum support to Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji Wabkem and Oluokun Peters but for all Chairmanship candidate and 40 Councilorship, claiming that they’ll cast, protect their votes for all PDP candidates, to restore productive grassroots governance.


He lauded the humanity of Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji Wabkem, Oluokun Peter Olusola, and others, stressing that their humanity is beyond politicking, it’s a true reflection of astute public administrator aimed at transforming local governance back to its lost glory.


“we’re so happy for their candidature because the party has placed the righteous people to turn things around at the grassroots, our honorable here, the likes of Hon. Ayo Olaogun, Sakolat, have projected your blueprints to us and we believe in your manifestos to meet our needs”. He stated.

Also, Alhaji Olowotutu and Alao Lateef Adekunle noted that PDP candidates will restore hope to the hopeless, and redeem their pledge towards implementing policies that will suit their needs and demands.

“This incoming administration candidate is our own, grassroots breed and they know where the show pinches, we’ll vote for them massively to ensure their mandate comes to reality “.

In their separate remarks, Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji Wabkem and Hon. Oluokun Peter Olusola commended the association for their support and promised to deliver bloc votes for all PDP Candidates on come 27th of this month.

They assured them of unwavering commitment to grassroots development, wooing investors, and creating a conducive environment for businesses to thrive.
