The leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State recently convened a crucial meeting with leaders from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and Nigeria National Party (NNPP) who recently defected into the PDP from Òkè Ogun Zone.

The purpose of this strategic gathering was to foster unity, harmonize interests, and seamlessly integrate all returning members back into the mainstream of the party.

The meeting, which took place today at the State Secretariat of the Party in Ibadan, Oyo State, witnessed the presence of esteemed leaders including the former State Party Chairman, Alhaji Omokunmi Mustapha, Hon. Ayo Olopoeyan, Hon. Wale Saminu, and the 10 Local Government Party Chairmen alongside the Chairmanship Candidates from Òkè Ogun Zone.

Coordinated by the State Secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, the gathering also included members of the State Executives such as the State Youth Leader and Acting Publicity Secretary, Micheal Ogunsina, the Oyo North Senatorial Youth Leader, Hon. Folawiyo Oladipupo, and the Oyo South Senatorial Youth Leader, Hon. Oladejo Taofeek, among others.

In a statement released to the media by the Acting Publicity Secretary, it was highlighted that leaders like Alhaji Azeez Ajinawo, Alhaji Adele Alawiye, Chief Orotona Oshinkayode, Chief Isaiah Oke, Alhaji Niyi Ahmed, and Hon.
