As part of measures to strengthen the socioeconomic well-being of Oyo residents, the Oyo State Government has promised to continue to provide an enabling environment for businesses to blossom.
This was stated by the Hon Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Barrister Seun Ashamu.
Ashamu stated this when he inspected GasInvest Ltd’s site in Ilero, Kajola local government area.
According to the Commissioner, “the facility, when fully operational, will provide safe and accessible LPG (cooking gas) to a target 20,000 homes in the Oke Ogun zone of Oyo State.
The integrated operations can refill 500 bottles with LPG each hour and are a strategic component of the Oyo State Gas Master plan and Policy which provides for long-term sustainable, affordable, and reliable energy supply to Oyo State.
