Oyo Iyaloja-General, Princess Abeo Rejoices As Olubadan Honors De-Damal, Wife With Aare, Yeye Aara Of Ibadan Land

The Iyaloja-General of Oyo State, Princess Folashade Azeezat Abeo NURUDEEN, expresses joy as the Olubadan in Council unanimously nominates His Eminence Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola, known as D-Damak, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo & Delta States, and his wife, Her Eminence Alhaja Mariam Olubukola Akinola, as AARE OF IBADANLAND and YEYE AARE OF IBADANLAND respectively.

In a press statement signed by her Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Rahmon Alawode, and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, Princess Folashade Abeo praised the efforts of Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola D-Damak, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, in promoting unity among market traders in the state. She also expressed admiration for his compassionate nature, stating, “I always cherish the humanly heart of our dear father.”

Princess Abeo confidently declared that Ibadan and its environs would experience continued rapid development under the leadership of the new Aare and Yeye Aare of Ibadanland. The official certification ceremony is scheduled to take place today by His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Mohood Olalekan Isola Balogun, Allí Okunmade II, the Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Princess Folashade Abeo concludes with a prayer for longevity, saying, “Baba mí, O ye a mori o!
