Early Life and Education
Wahab Waliu Adetunji was born in Atiba local government, Oyo, Oyo State, to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Wahab of Obabori compound, Oke-Aafin, Ward One (01). He’s a devoted Muslim, a gentleman, trustworthy, and a philanthropist of excellence.

He attended L. A Primary School, Agbaakin-Ajiroba, and further his secondary education at Laguna Grammar School. He then furthered his educational pursuit at one of the foremost Cooperative Training Institutes, Elekaara, Ilora, designed to produce skilled knowledgeable, and self-reliant personnel.

Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji Wabkem is a grassroots politician with a productive selfless record of service to the community, a party man to the core which has earned him a series of unlimited recognition as a democratic leader.
Wabkem views politics as a voluntary service to humanity and is inspired by great politicians of note. He contested for Councilorship in 2007 and won across units and his Ward, and later became the majority of the Atiba legislative arms. His regime witnessed tremendous development, poverty alleviation, sustainable development, series of workshops and conferences for the grassroots Councillors and others which earned him the recognized name tagged “WABKEM”
He was appointed Director-General of the Campaign in the Oyo federal constituency for the PDP Senatorial candidate in Oyo Central, Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka in 2022.
Wabkem believes in dividends of democracy at no cost directly to the people. As he prepares for the upcoming local government elections in Oyo State, he remains confident that he’ll emerge victorious and make a great contribution to the restoration agenda legacy in the royal council.
