The Oyo State Head of Service,Mrs Olubunmi Oni,mni, Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof.Salihu Adelabu, Chairman, Teaching Service Commission, Pastor Akinade Alamu, Permanent Secretaries, Inspectors General of Education, Directors and other top government officials have applauded the sterling qualities of Mr . Olusanjo Adeniyi, who bowed out of the Oyo State Civil Service , on 22nd February, 2024 as the Permanent Secretary , Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
Speaking further at the retirement and send forth ceremony of the new retiree ,which took place at the Western Hall, Agodi, Secretariat, Ibadan, the Head of Service, acknowledged the resourcefulness of the retiree and his numerous contributions to success recorded by the education ministry while in service .
She affirmed that the new senior citizen played pivotal roles in the achievements of the present administration in the education sector .
In his goodwill message,the commissioner for Education, Science and Technology,Prof. Salihu Adelabu, maintained that his working relationship with the retiree was hinged on his humbleness, diligence and hard work.
Also,the Chairman,Oyo State Teaching Service Commission, Pastor Akinade Alamu, emphasised that the contributions of Mr Adeniyi could not be undermined in the area of improved reforms in the Education Sector in the state.
He hinted that the retired Permanent Secretary,contributed immensely to various grants won by the education sector in the state.
Responding to all the goodwill messages and encomiums showered on him,Mr.Olusanjo Adeniyi , appreciated God Almighty for seeing him through in the civil service of Oyo state .
He equally thanked everyone present at the event and prayed that God will reward them abundantly.
He encouraged all other civil servants to be passionate about their job and determined in whatever they do.
Mr.Adeniyi retired from the Oyo State Civil Service at the age of 60 .
