Following a demonstration of the high cost of living, perversive hunger, and prevailing economic challenges, one of the frontline contenders for the vacant stool of Alaafin of Oyo, Prince Kolade Hafeez Siyanbola Oladigbolu has joined the pained Nigerians lamenting the economic hardship of the current administration.
According to him, hardship is not today in the country, people have always been complaining of hardship even when a bag of cement was N3000 and a loaf of bread was N250,00. during the dispensation of erstwhile President Muhammad Buhari’s regime.
“It’s worth noting that, as far as I am concerned,
We are about to understand the fact that Rome was not built in one day. Nigeria, as a country, is now ready to follow the laydown procedures to the promised land we have been talking about”. He stated.
“No nation won’t get to any promised land by skipping the original route to the promised land we are all clamoring for. The new Nigeria is around the corner. The youths should not allow the saboteurs to use them to secure a brighter chance for the next presidential election.
Prince Siyanbola further stated that Nigerians have been living a fake life since the beginning of the 4th Republic public. We are just about to get back to our fit. The new Nigeria must heal the wounds before activities, so let’s bear the temporary pains to everlasting comfort.
“Not Nigeria of before where people slept as poor people and woke up as millionaires, such a country can never be better. New Nigeria is different from old Nigeria, where people can’t be traced with any occupation but accumulate wealth.
He said; the new Nigeria was different from the old where stealing and fraud were a way of life. The new Nigeria will not accommodate a situation where there are no dollars in the banks, but Abokis has it, even though it is one hundred thousand.
Prince Siyanbola urged the government of a new Nigeria that will not allow a central bank to grant loans to conventional banks. He admonished those in authority to establish a very solid presence of consequences.
“Not a Nigeria where a 17-year-old boy driving a Mercedes Benz worth millions of naira and the parents never demand to know the source of livelihood.
“It’s high time we put an end to foreign-made cars, and goods instead of giving attention to locally-made goods. The new Nigeria will not allow some parts to ban the sale of alcohol but share the VAT money collected from the sale of alcohol in other parts of the country.
He also admonished the religious clerics not to become spiritual priests for known criminals and spiritualists because of money. Claiming that all these bad habits contributed to the economic hardship facing the country.
“New Nigeria will be completely different from a country that produces oil and pays more money to buy what it naturally owns. New Nigeria will not be a nation where stealing one cup of garri will attract more jail terms than stealing billions of public funds”. He lamented.
The new Nigeria is real.
