The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin has congratulated the new Asigangan of Igangan in Ibarapa North Local Government, Oba Rafiu Olaniyi Adeniyi, Ariwoola II on receiving instrument of office from the State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde.
The Speaker in congratulatory message wished the new Oba a peaceful reign.
The new Kabiyesi emerged from the Oyiigun Ruling House following the death of Oba Lasisi Olawuyi Adeoye Aribiyan I.
“Hearty felicitations to the new Asigangan of Iganganland on this historic occasion. Congratulations to our people in Iganganland. May the reign of our new Oba usher in more development in the town and its environs. Peace is pivotal to the development of any society hence, I will like to appeal to Oba Asigangan to promote peace amongst residents of the town irrespective of tribes. I will like to also appreciate all the ruling houses for this historic feat.”
The Speaker tasked the new Asigangan to work with all sons and daughters of the ancient town, home and abroad to enhance the socioeconomic conditions of the people.
