Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ibadan North Constituency 2 in the 10th assembly, has rejoiced with the Speaker of the House, Rt Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, as he turns 37 today.
Babajide, in a statement released and made available to newsmen, described the celebrant as a patriot, respected parliamentarian, and committed public officer.
Ogundoyin, who also serves as the Chairman of the Nigerian Conference of Speakers, has leveraged his experience, connections, and networks to transform the Oyo assembly, as well as the Nigerian Conference of Speakers, to greater heights.
He said, “Your purposeful leadership, commitment to the cause of the masses, personal integrity, and commitment to people-oriented policies enacted under your leadership have endeared you to millions of Oyo residents. You have exhibited uncommon wisdom, remarkable vision, and exemplary leadership for Oyo State.
Furthermore, you have demonstrated great leadership, and your immense knowledge is incomparable. Your love for the development of Oyo State is a central attraction for us, and together, we will achieve great things for our dear state.
“Mr. Speaker, we’re proud of the way you have been steering the ship of the Oyo State House of Assembly; it’s marvelous to our sight, and it’s commendable.”
Hon. Babajide further asserted, “Under his leadership, the Oyo House of Assembly has passed numerous landmark legislations, which have proved helpful in deepening our democracy and the good governance mantra of His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde.”
The Jagaban of the 9th & 10th assembly prayed that God Almighty would continue to grant the respected Rt Hon. Adebo greater wisdom and strength as the Speaker successfully sustains the worthy legacy of stable and productive leadership in the Oyo assembly from the hallowed seat in the determined pursuit of the actualization of the roadmap for Sustainable Development Agenda of His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde.
