In the spirit of thanksgiving to God, the honorable Councillor representing Ward Seven (07) in Ido Local Government, Hon. Adedeji Adebowale, has donated one hundred thousand naira to Mountain of Salvation Church in Ido council area.
He maintained that this generous gesture was donated towards the development of the church as a way of giving back to the constituents.
He stated that as a believer in God Almighty, he was in church to appreciate the Almighty for continuously guiding him in his legislative prowess at the grassroots level and allowing him to serve the people of Ido Local Government.
Hon. Adedeji Adebowale affirmed that his administration recognized all religions, ensuring fair and equal treatment for all.
The councilor called on the clerics to continue praying for him and his government.
He expressed his undeterred commitment to work in tandem with the Executive Chairman of Ido council area, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo’s agenda to take the local government to greater heights, promising to make the council chairman, political leaders, and elders in Ido Local Government proud.
The church pastor, in his sermon, lauded the councilor’s reference to God Almighty, urging him to remain committed to the well-being of the people of Ido Local Government.
According to him, “God requires from man a heart of thanksgiving.”
He said, “Just like the biblical David who never stopped thanking God, it is important for every person to live a life full of thanksgiving to God.”
He also prayed for wisdom for the councilor, Hon. Adedeji Adebowale, to effectively steer the wheel of the local government towards a desired end, stating that his second term ambition will garner massive votes across all units and Ward Seven in Ido.”
