Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) U-17 team will on Thursday, begin their campaign in the maiden NPFL U-17 League with a clash against their Remo Stars counterparts.
The newly introduced cadet league, will commence across the country on a zonal basis with the winner of each zone proceeding to the national playoff.
In the south West zone, which is group D, 3SC, will slug it out with the trio of Remo Stars, Sunshine Stars and Sporting Lagos at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado-Ekiti.
The young Oluyole Warriors, who arrived the Ekiti State capital on Tuesday, have since settled down and have been training ahead of their first match
The players of the Ibadan soccer lords, according to their technical crew, are pyschologically prepared for the contest, after majority of the players successfully passed the screening exercise conducted by the organisers on Wednesday.
The 3SC versus Remo Stars encounter, which is the group’s opener, will kick off by 8.00 am, while the second match involving Sunshine Stars and Sporting Lagos will be held by 10.00 am
