Oyo Iyaloja-General of Oyo State, Princess Abeo, has commiserated with the victims of the Soka market in Ibadan over the fire disaster, which occurred on Monday (yesterday).
The fire outbreak, which reportedly occurred around 3 p.m, emanated from a furniture shop and destroyed goods and properties worth millions of Naira.
Princess Abeo, in a press statement she personally signed and issued to the journalists in Ibadan, expressed heartfelt sympathy over the losses experienced as a result of the unfortunate incident.
While appealing to the government and other well-meaning individuals within and outside the state to come to the aid of the victims, she urged the victims to consider what happened as an act of Allah.
She equally urged them to be rest assured that the Almighty God will come to their aid in multiples.
She, however, enjoined the people to always have fire extinguishing equipment at their business premises, which will serve in emergencies and minimize damage before the arrival of firefighters.
