She informed the political functionarie and career civil servants that “we are entering the new year with confidence because our state is on a solid prosperity footing and with a lot of interesting prospects for all people of Oyo, particularly, the civil and public servants saying Govenor makinde’s administration is passionate about the welfare of the career officers, that’s why he made salaries and allowances and benefits first line charge in the allocation of the State.
She used the opportunity of the gathering to thank all staff members for their support and cooperation since the inception of her administration. She observed that “it was your backing that enabled us to achieve the modest successes we recorded”.

In her words, in the last two and half years, we delivered on our promises to the staff and the good people of Saki-East, despite the harsh economic climate. She went further to State that the task in local government administration is enormous but she remained focused and committed to the welfare of the people.
She therefore added that there’s still a lot of work ahead and her government will not relent on her efforts to give the best service possible.
Alhaja Rahmat Adeniran urged all the staff members to be alive to their responsibility of fulfilling their obligations to Saki East local government through regular and prompt coming to the office, dedication to official duties, avoiding backbiting and divulging of official secrets, and above all staying away from general misconduct which includes, corruption, dishonesty, drunkenness, false claims against government, foul language, insubordination, negligence, failure to keep or falsification or suppression of records and absence from place of work without leave or proper excuse among others.
She went further to appeal to Staff members should in the interest of the state continue to undertake any lawful duty that may be assigned to them and obey all lawful orders and instructions of the Commission, Ministry, and superior officers to move Council and State to the greater heights.

Alhaja Rahmat now presented a merit award to five (5) outstanding awardees of the most efficient civil servants for the year 2023 with a cash gift of a sum of Twenty Thousand Naira (#20,000.00k) only to each of the recipients.
