New Year: Oyo East First Lady Spreads Love, Welcomes First Babies of the Year [PHOTOS]

The First Lady of Oyo East local government area, Mrs Aminat Arowsaye, on Monday welcomed the first babies of the year in the local government .

The First Lady’s visit began at Oba Adeyemi Maternity Centre where she personally congratulated parents and presented adorable gifts to the two newborns. The gifts included essential baby items, clothing, beds, shower bath sets, diapers, and tokens. The first baby was born at 12:19 am while the second at 12:29 am.

The visit continued at General Hospital Oyo where the First Lady took time to engage with the new parents and offering words of encouragements. The infant received clothings, bed, diapers, baby care products and token in recognition of the status as among the first babies born in the local government in the new year.

The final stop of the day was at the Sekinah Medical Centre. Mrs Arowosaye expressed her delight in welcoming the newest member of the local government. The infant was presented with gifts which also included clothings, bed, shower bath set, diapers and token.

Speaking on the visits, the First Lady emphasised the significance of celebrating new life and fostering a sense of community. The First Lady’s visit was met with gratitude and smiles from the families and hospital staff. The visit not only brought joy to the new parents but also highlighted the local government’s commitment to promoting community well-being and unity.

The hospital staff and parents expressed their appreciation for the First Lady’s thoughtful visit, creating a positive start to the New Year for everyone involved.
