The Iyaloja General of Oyo state, Princess Folashade Abeo Nurudeen has penned a heartwarming birthday message to the Executive Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde as he clocked 56 on Sunday.
In a goodwill message she personally signed, the Iyaloja General prayed to Almighty God to grant Governor Makinde more favour and long life to pilot the affairs of Oyo state to its desired destination.
Princess Abeo who described Makinde as the peoples Governor, lauded his divine mantle of leadership and governance style, as well his contributions to the development of various sectors of Oyo state economy.
No one in the pacesetter state, she added, would ever dispute his developmental stride, not even the market traders who directly benefit from his administration and can attest to his exceptional qualities and accomplishments.
The Iyaloja General, who expressed her excitement and eagerness to receive the Governor in her hometown for his 56th birthday celebration, noted that the Governor is indeed a blessing to the people of Oyo state as she had also benefitted from his words of advice.
She explained that few years ago, she learnt from the Governor’s little words of advice, Which had helped her in acquiring people’s trust, and friendship a lot, saying, “I am still very grateful of it, and forever will do.”
While urging the Governor to remain steadfast in his avowed commitment to the welfare of Oyo workers, she asserted that his continuous sustenance of infrastructural development of the state is also part of efforts to boost the economic fortunes of the state.
Abeo, who equally applauded the governor for his economic recovery strategy with the SAfER initiative, pointed out that small businesses have also benefited from the strategy, which has helped them recover and cushion the effect of the subsidy removal.
She said: “Today, we celebrate our amiable and purposeful governor, the Vice Chairman of Nigeria Governor’s Forum, Engnr Seyi Makinde, on the occasion of his 56th birthday anniversary.
“Your unwavering commitment to the welfare and progress of our dear state is evident in your people first policies exemplified in the countless initiatives and policies you are championing.
“From infrastructure development to healthcare improvement, you have consistently strived to uplift the lives of the citizens.
“I sincerely appreciate your little words of advice years ago which had helped me in acquiring people’s trust, and friendship a lot. And I am still very grateful of it, and forever will do.
“As you mark your birthday, my family and I wish you more glory and pray God’s grace will continue to sustain you on the lanes of favour and sound health,” the statement reads.”
