Shooting Stars vs Heartland: Oluyole Warriors Set to Maintain Home Invisibility

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan looks good to continue with their good home record on Sunday when they play host to bottom-placed Heartland FC of Owerri.

The five previous visitors to the Lekan Salami Stadium, have all returned home empty handed and the Naze Millionaires could be another victim as the Oluyole Warriors are not ready to spare any opposition.

Irked by last Sunday’s painful 1-2 loss to Lobi Stars in Lafia, the Ibadan soccer lords are poised to return to winning ways, with the players in killer mood ahead of the matchday eleven encounter, slated for the Lekan Salami Stadium.

The Owerri based side, who recently hired coach Kennedy Boboye as their head coach, have not been having it good since the start of the season and it is doubtful if the trend will change on Sunday against the inform Shooting Stars.

After the loss to Lobi Stars, 3SC chief tactician, Gbenga Ogunbote, hinted that his team will return to base to plot the fall of the Naze Millionaires so as to get back to winning way, an indication that Heartland may be in for a difficult time.

Supporters and fans of the Ibadan soccer lords, would be looking forward to a repeat of the 2021/22 season, when the Stars emerged 4-0 victors over the Naze Millionaires, in a Matchday ten fixture, played at the same venue.
