The Executive Chairman of Oyo West local government, Prince Salam Akeem Babatunde Olukitibi has felicitated with a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo West Council area and former Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Maroof Olawale Atilola on his appointment as the Chairman, Oyo State Scholarship Board and Hon. Saka Moshood Olawale as the Special Adviser on Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) by His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde.
Recall that Governor Makinde through the office of the Chief of Staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi announced the appointment of individuals Into boards, Parastatals, and other agencies on Wednesday.
In a congratulatory message released and made available to Heritage Echo News on Friday, by the council Boss, Prince Salam Akeem Babatunde Olukitibi added that Rt Hon Olawale Atilola’s legislative experience, the spirit of resilience, and positive passion for the growth and development of Oyo State educational standards contribute to his reappointment as the Chairman, of the Oyo State Scholarship Board, while he reaffirmed the efforts of Hon. Saka Moshood Olawale on his previous appointment as the Special Adviser on Energy and Mineral Resources on his significant contributions to the light up project saying his reappointment is well deserved.
Olukitibi described Rt Hon Olawale Atilola and Saka Moshood Olawale reappointment as a reward of commitment and dedication to the sustainable development agenda of His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde in making Oyo an investment destination.
“Your dedication to the development of Oyo West and Oyo East local government respectively has not gone unnoticed, your inestimable contributions to our grassroots development, Oyo federal constituency as well as our administration’s foresight for productive governance at the local level”. Olukitibi stated.
“While congratulating you on your reappointment, we’re also looking at your pragmatic excellent display of competence and professionalism in your new role, truly Ajisebi Oyo L’aari”.
He now lauded Governor Makinde for putting a round peg in a round hole, while he believed that Rt Hon Olawale Atilola, Hon. Saka Moshood Olawale would complement his efforts in steering the pacesetter State towards further development.
