The Yoruba Council of Youth Worldwide (YCYW), Oyo State Council, led by Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon Akintunde, has committed to youth development collaboration with Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon Wasilat Adegoke.
During the fruitful meeting held recently, the YCYW extended hearty congratulations to Honourable Wasilat on her well-deserved appointment and expressed keen interest in fostering collaboration for the holistic development of youth in the state.
In her gracious response, Honourable Wasilat conveyed her appreciation to the Yoruba Youth Council in Oyo State. She pledged her unwavering support for programs aligned with the sustainable development agenda of the Oyo State Government, led by His Excellency, Engr. Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde.
Highlighting her visionary plans, Honourable Wasilat emphasized her commitment to developing the Youth Constituency and outlined initiatives aimed at revitalizing the Oyo State Women’s football team.
The meeting also saw the participation of key figures, including YCYW Assistant Secretary Omidan Abimbola Akanbi, Director of Tourism Omidan Popoola Zainab, Egalitarian Akinlabi Segun, Honourable Ogunbode Oluwaseyi, Omoluabi Yusuf Hammed, and others.
