An undisclosed source confirmed categorically that the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has summoned and waded into the political feud between Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and his deputy Lucky Aiyedatiwa by inviting Ondo State House of Assembly Lawmakers to Abuja today.
It would be recalled that the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu’s medical leave in June earlier this year and his return to the country after three months of medical vacation, his incapacitated health to return to Ondo government house has been causing a feud between him and his deputy over the affairs of the State.

Information gathered that the traditional rulers and prominent elders in Ondo during the week appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to make a solid intervention in the political crisis to avert looming anarchy in the state.
It was also gathered that the Ondo State House of Assembly has a dividend with 11 lawmakers now in support of Deputy Governor Aiyedatiwa noting that the 11 Lawmakers were reached out to by some forces outside Ondo State.

Consequently, a sitting of the state lawmakers scheduled for Friday was said to have been pushed by the 11 lawmakers. According to one of them who pleaded anonymity, the sitting was part of the plans hatched in Abuja with the 11 lawmakers to declare Governor Akeredolu incapacitated and declare Aiyedatiwa as Governor.
Speaker Olamide Oladiji, who confirmed the meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, said the outcome of the meeting would determine the next line of action.
Oladiji said the schedule for Friday’s plenary was to declare as acting Governor and not to declare Akeredolu as incapacitated.
He said the meeting with President Tinubu would be held on Friday afternoon
“Our sitting was to declare Aiyedatiwa as Acting Governor. The Governor is still alive,” he said.
