The Ibadan Soccer lord Goalkeeper Anozie Chinedu has expressed delight, he was able to guard his net without letting in a goal in last Sunday’s Matchday nine against Kano Pillars.
For the first time this season, the Ibadan soccer lords kept a clean sheet on home soil, having conceded a goal each in previous four home games.

After the keenly contested clash against the Sai Masu Gida, the former Plateau United goalie could not hide his joy for obvious reasons.

“I’m so happy we are are to pick the maximum points and keep our good home record so far, but I’m so happy that for the first time this season, we did not concede a goal at home

“Personally, I am excited in keeping a clean sheet, which helped my team to grab this important win and that makes it a great day for me”, said the Eagle as the safe hand is nicknamed.
“Every goalkeeper dreams not to concede a goal. We have worked so hard to make sure we don’t concede and I’m happy, we were able to do that” stated the goalie, who however thumbed up his resilient defenders and the entire team for doing a good job.
“I give it to our defenders who have been so brave since the season started and the entire team as well as our coaches who keep working on us. I pray we have more wins, more clean sheets as the season progresses”, concluded Anozie.
