Ahead of the forthcoming local government election in Oyo State, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) local executives, stakeholders, chieftains, and members of the party in Oyo West on Wednesday expressed satisfaction, support for the continuity of good governance of the party’s flag bearer Hon. Prince Salam Akeem Babatunde Olukitibi and his Vice Chairmanship Hon. Nureni Alade.

The party chieftains and thousands of members threw their weight behind the performing chairman during their weekly general meeting at Bola Primary School, Sanga, Oyo, Oyo State.

Speaking at the meeting, the PDP party chairman, Alhaji Sarafadeen Oyedele Oloyo reaffirmed the party’s support for the continuity of Hon. Prince Salam Akeem Olukitibi and Hon. Nureni Alade Adesola in providing good governance at the grassroots level which remains their major concern, noting that they’re the chosen flagbearer in the next council elections while assuring their maximum support, cooperation for a productive campaign across the nooks and crannies of the council area.

Oloyo in a joyous mood maintained that Olukitibi’s administration has torched all areas of human development, and his continuity will be a reward mechanism for loyalty, dedication, and consistency for an astute public administrator, while their support and cooperation for him remain unblemished, to achieve his cardinal masses oriented policies of sustainable development in modern Oyo West.

He assured that the coming election remains a big win for all PDP candidates in Oyo West and the State in particular.

In his own words Leader Isiaka Adebayo said with a deep sense of honor and responsibility, we’re happy to inform the general public about the latest development in Oyo West noting that Olukitibi/Alade has an enviable record of great achievement while urging all warring factions to sheathe their sword and work for the party’s victory at the poll.

“Consequently at the general meeting today, we hereby pass a vote of confidence in Olukitibi/Alade leadership at the helm of affairs in our grassroots and wholeheartedly endorse their re-election bid” he stated.

In his remark, the executive chairman of Oyo West local government who’s ably seeking reelection bid, Hon. Prince Salam Akeem Babatunde Olukitibi expressed his joyous appreciation to the party members at the weekly general meeting for their support and trust in his administration based on his dividends of democracy, provisions of infrastructure and welfare package for both the party members and general public in good conscience within limits resources available.

“Today’s support shows a positive atmosphere of our laid down good services from the local executives, Ward Chairmen, local and ward youth leaders, local and ward women leaders, party chieftains, stakeholders, and faithful members for their renewed confidence in us by trusting us as the party’s flag bearer”.

“Together with my colleague (Alh. Nureni Alade Eleniyan) our door is widely open for all, We’ll continue to strive for adequate welfare for all, increase our local internally generated revenue, promote agribusiness, create a conducive environment for businesses to thrive, create a strong capacity building for entrepreneurship, women and youth empowerments, solidify the party as one and indivisible entity”. Olukitibi stated.
Olukiti/Alade now used the medium to appreciate the leadership support of Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom who doubles as the executive Governor of Oyo State Engr Seyi Makinde and Senator Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonu for giving them a platform to showcase their political prowess in providing essential services to the residents of Oyo West.

Prince Olukitibi now assured that a journey to a better turn has indeed begun, promising to improve social services and enhance local productivity and growth economy as embedded in his continuity agenda.

Equally, speaking on behalf of the Mogaji Adeyemi Alowolodu royal family Prince Akinade Adeyemi lauded the PDP Chieftains, stakeholders, and members for upholding the integrity of the party in supporting the continuity agenda of Prince Olukitibi/Alade, saying that their door is widely open for developmental agenda, adequate welfare for all.

He commended the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde, and Senator Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonu for their support for Prince Salam Akeem Babatunde Olukitibi and Nureni Alade Adesola Eleniyan.
