The popular community based NGO in Oyo, Oyo state, Omo Iya Kunmi Foundation (OIKF) has kickstarted the nomination process for the 5th edition of Oyo Social Media Award (Social Media Category), in accordance with the aims and objectives of the annual initiative which is to promote unity and foster peace among individuals who are great contributors to the Oyo community and Oyo state as a whole.
In line with this, the committee of the awards’ initiative has drafted out the mode of this year’s edition and also the criteria for the nomination of these impeccable contributors.
In order to ensure that the process of nomination is fair, it’s highly important to state that the nominees must be active on social media space and must be found worthy of what they are nominated for.
However, it should be analytically noted that only top 5 nominees would be presented for voting, a profess where social media users get to vote for the overall winners.
Also, in light of the foregoing, the central working committee of this edition would ensure that there is transparency and fairness at all levels of nominations and voting process.
The nomination window opens today, 11th November, 2023 and will be closed by midnight of the 25th day of the month.
