The former Chairman of Oyo State local government Pension board, Hon. Prince Abdul Fatai Adebayo Adeyemi (D-Gov) has congratulated His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde and the first lady of Oyo State, Chief Tamunomini Olufunke Makinde on their installation as the Jagunmolu and Yeye Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom by the Osemawe of Ondo, HRM, Oba (Dr.) Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo.
In his congratulatory message to Gov. Makinde on Saturday, November 11, 2023, Hon. Prince Adeyemi said the installation in commemoration of the 17th coronation anniversary of the monarch is not only a recognition of the rare leadership style of Gov. Makinde but also an indication of his influence and impact, which extends beyond the borders of Nigeria.
He further maintained that the People’s Governor has made an impact and touched lives in positive ways, claiming that Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom is a reward for excellent service delivery and to humanity, describing the conferments as well deserved.
The former Chairman of the Oyo State local government Pension board praised the thoughtfulness of the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, Oba Adesimbo Kiladejo, for finding Gov. Makinde worthy of the chieftaincy title, adding that the installation reflects the traditional ruler’s emphasis on merit, excellence, and dedication.
D-Gov has fondly called, however, wished Gov. Makinde strength and longevity to enjoy the chieftaincy title and all that he has labored for over the years.
