As the quest of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, for a successful campaign in the 2023/24 season, got a royal blessing during the week.
The royal blessing, courtesy of the Aare and paramount ruler of Ago-Are, in Atisbo local government area of Oyo State, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abodunrin Oyetunji Kofoworola Olakanla 11 (Phd, FCAI), was showered on the team during the recently held Ago Are day.
The Team B of the Oluyole Warriors, was in Ago Are, Oke Ogun for a friendly match with Ago Are United, which was organised as part of activities marking the celebration.
While hosting the team after the encounter which ended 2-0 in favour of 3SC, Oba Abodunrin Oyetunji, expressed appreciation to the management of 3SC for accepting the invitation for the friendly tie.
The Monarch, thereafter, prayed for the team, wishing the Oluyole Warriors a successful campaign in the ongoing season.
Coordinator of the Team B, coach Ayo Adeyemo, on behalf of the 3SC management, thanked the monarch and the entire people of Ago Are for their hospitality.
