The Oyo State House of Assembly has directed its Standing Committee on Basic Education to investigate the procedure and method adopted in promoting students across the public secondary and primary schools in Oyo State. .As state/FCMB set to give N1.5bn support to agripreneurs The Director-General of the Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA) and Executive Adviser to Governor ‘Seyi Makinde on Agribusiness and International Cooperation, Dr Debo Akande, said on Wednesday that the state government has attracted about N46.6 billion investments into the state through agribusiness. The federal high court lagos division has convicted and sentenced five chinese for cyber-terrorism and internet fraud. The trial judge, justice Dehinde Dipeolu gave the order in Lagos. The convicts are among the syndicate of 792 alleged cryptocurrency investment and romance fraud suspects arrested on december 19, 2024 in Lagos during a sting operation conducted by efcc operatives. They were arraigned on separate counts bordering on cyber-terrorism and internet fraud. Properties worth millions of naira were destroyed in a fire incident at a shopping complex in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital. The Fire incident occurred beside Akin-Alamu Building, Papa Alakia Isebo Road, Ibadan, affecting five (05) out of ten (10) shops in the building.
