No fewer than 29 suspects have been arrested for involving in various criminal activities by Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN) codenamed “Amotekun Corps” in Ondo State According to the Punch news report, the Amotekun corps said the suspects were arrested at different locations across the state. The state Commander of the corps in Akure , Adetunji Adeleye, said the suspects were allegedly involved in kidnapping, armed robbery, burglary, shop breaking and stealing of motorcycles. The Oyo State Government has said that the Accountant-General of the State, Mrs Kikelomo Adegoke, did not contradict the position of the governor, Seyi Makinde, on the payment of judgment debt to former local government chairmen and councillors.
