I Lost a Bosom Friend and Brother in the Demise of Hon. Akinremi Jagaban – Olusegun Olaleye ‘Radical’ Mourns

Two-term Oyo State House of Assembly member who represented Ibadan North Constituency 2 and former Federal House of Representatives aspirant, Hon. Olusegun Olaleye, popularly known as ‘Radical Brother,’ has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden demise of Hon. Olaide Akinremi, the federal representative for Ibadan North Federal Constituency.

In a heartfelt message made available to newsmen, Hon. Olaleye described Akinremi’s passing as a profound shock and remembered him as a remarkable individual who made significant contributions to the development of his constituency and Oyo State.

Hon. Olaleye’s message reads:

“I lost a bosom friend and a brother in the demise of Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban.

The death of Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban came to me as a great shock.

We spoke for lengthy hours the night before your death, discussing assignments you asked me to carry out on your behalf.

I never knew you were saying goodbye to everyone.

Your achievements as a federal honorable are indelible and written on marble.

You are a rare gem who came, saw, and conquered.

My brother and my bosom personal person, sleep on in the Lord.

Sun re o o.

I am still in shock over your passing and cannot find the words to describe your lasting contributions to humanity and to the good people of Ibadan North.

Love you always, my own brother.”

Hon. Olaide Akinremi, affectionately known as “Jagaban,” was widely respected for his dedication and service.

His untimely death leaves a significant void in the hearts of many who admired his leadership and commitment to the betterment of Ibadan North and the development of Oyo State.
