The GLOWIN Campaign Council of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ona Ara Local Government, under the distinguished leadership of Chief Waheed Ajao Adurodekun, expresses profound gratitude to Almighty God for the resounding victory at the polls yesterday.
In a press statement signed by the Secretary of the campaign team, Prince Odumeru, and disseminated through the Media and Publicity Unit of GLOWIN, the council extends heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for his exemplary leadership and commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent electoral process. The council also acknowledges the impartiality and diligence of the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC), under the leadership of Aare Olagunju, in conducting the elections.
Special recognition is accorded to Jagunmolu Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, for his unwavering support from the inception of the campaign to the victorious outcome of the elections, which saw success in all levels of representation from Chairmanship to Councillorship across Ward 1-11.
The council extends gratitude to other key figures whose support was instrumental in achieving victory, including the Oyo Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Muhammad Abiodun Fadeyi, Director General of Oyo State Liaison Office, Chief Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), Ona Ara Local Government Chairman, Hon. Musibau Sanusi SHABA, Proprietor of Funmi Obisesan Development and Empowerment Initiative (FODEI), Engr. Funmi Obisesan, and all other donors who contributed to the success of the campaigns and elections.
