The GSMists, a formidable socio-political support group committed to the success of Governor Seyi Makinde and the Omituntun agenda, has reaffirmed its unwavering loyalty to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, while assuring members and the public that the exit of its former Chief Coordinator, Hon. Lukman Olajide (Royal Umbrella), is a personal decision that does not represent the position of the group.

In a statement jointly signed by the State Coordinator, Prince Oluyinka Tella, and the State Secretary, Hon. Ganiyu Kamal (The Greatkamal), the leadership stressed that the GSMists remains united, focused, and fully committed to the realization of Omituntun 3.0.

According to the statement, the decision of Hon. Lukman Olajide to leave the group was taken in his personal capacity and should not be interpreted as a division within the organization or a change in its political direction.

“The GSMists remains intact and stronger than ever. Our loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde and the Omituntun vision is unwavering. The personal decision of our former Chief Coordinator does not in any way reflect the position of our members across the state,” the statement read.

The leadership further assured supporters that the group’s well-established political structure remains active in all the 33 local government areas of Oyo State and is fully prepared to mobilize grassroots support for the success of the Omituntun 3.0 agenda.

Prince Oluyinka Tella and Hon. Ganiyu Kamal (The Greatkamal) called on all members to remain calm, united, and focused on the collective mission of strengthening the achievements of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration.

They emphasized that the GSMists will continue to work tirelessly in promoting good governance, grassroots mobilization, and political stability across Oyo State, expressing confidence that the group’s expansive structure will play a significant role in delivering the Omituntun 3.0 project.
