
An aspirant for the Chairmanship position of Ibarapa East Local Government, Hon. Ogundoyin Hammed Adewale, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful on the occasion of this year’s Eid al-Adha celebration, urging Nigerians to embrace the virtues of unity, sacrifice, love, and peaceful coexistence.
In a goodwill message made available to journalists on Wednesday, Ogundoyin described Eid al-Adha as a significant period in the Islamic faith that symbolizes total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, steadfastness, and compassion for humanity.
He called on Muslims in Ibarapa East Local Government and across the country to use the sacred celebration as an opportunity to pray for peace, progress, and sustainable development in Nigeria.


According to him, the lessons of Eid al-Adha should inspire leaders and citizens alike to make meaningful sacrifices for the collective growth and unity of society.

Ogundoyin further urged residents of Ibarapa East to continue promoting harmony and mutual understanding irrespective of religious or political affiliations, stressing that unity remains a vital tool for community development and nation-building.

The chairmanship aspirant also encouraged the people to remain hopeful and committed to the ideals of good governance, noting that collective efforts and selfless service are essential to achieving a better future for the grassroots.
He thereafter wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful, joyful, and spiritually fulfilling Eid al-Adha celebration.
