The Okanlomo Oodua and Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, on Thursday hosted prominent women stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State at the prestigious Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Ibadan.

The delegation was led by the Oyo State APC Women Leader, Dr. Felicia Adekemi Opatunde, alongside other notable women leaders across the three senatorial districts of the state.

Speaking during the engagement, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi appreciated the women leaders for the visit and commended their unwavering commitment towards strengthening the APC structure in Oyo State and beyond.

Chief Sanusi charged the women stakeholders to remain united and committed towards the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election, stressing the need for collective efforts in sustaining the Renewed Hope agenda of the present administration.

He emphasized the strategic role women play in political mobilization, grassroots engagement, and party development, urging them to continue championing peace, progress, and effective leadership within the party.

According to him, “Women remain the backbone of every successful political movement. Their support, dedication, and mobilization strength are crucial to the continued success of our great party and the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.”

The meeting also provided an avenue for discussions on party unity, grassroots political participation, and strengthening APC’s chances ahead of future electoral engagements in Oyo State and across the country.

Among the APC women stakeholders present at the meeting were the Deputy State Woman Leader of Oyo APC, Hon. Fatima Titilayo Hassan; Oyo South Senatorial Woman Leader, Yeye Mojibade Adetona; Oyo Central Senatorial Woman Leader, Alhaja Olaide Mutiyat Adeoye; Oyo North Senatorial Woman Leader, Hon. Yetunde Oyebode; and Chief Mrs. Lola Odekunmbi, among other party faithful.

The visit ended with prayers for the success of the APC and the continued progress of Nigeria under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
