Hon. Saheed Abimbola Oladimeji, popularly known as OWONIFAARI, has formally declared his intention to contest for the position of Chairman of Ibadan South-East Local Government Council.
The declaration was made during the Local Government Executive Committee (Excos) meeting held today, where party leaders and stakeholders were in attendance. Addressing the gathering, Hon. Oladimeji expressed his appreciation for the continuous efforts of the party executives in strengthening the party structure at the grassroots level.
He noted that his decision to join the race was driven by a strong desire to contribute to the growth of the party and to promote effective, people oriented governance at the local government level. He emphasized the importance of unity, collaboration, and respect for party leadership in achieving both electoral success and sustainable development.
Hon. Oladimeji further assured the Excos of his commitment to working closely with the party structure, while prioritizing the welfare of the people and ensuring that governance at the local level delivers tangible and measurable impact.
He concluded by seeking the support, cooperation, and prayers of party leaders and members, expressing confidence that with collective effort, the party would achieve victory and provide purposeful leadership for the people of Ibadan South-East Local Government.
