In a move to improve living conditions for residents, the Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has flagged off the mass rehabilitation and grading of roads across all 10 wards in the council area.
The initiative kicked off today at Balogun Toriola community in Ward 4. Hon. Adeojo assured that the exercise will cover every ward comprehensively.
This road rehabilitation and grading effort aims to enhance mobility for residents, open up remote communities, and boost local economic activities like farming and trade.
Alhaji Kamiludeen Moshood, Chairman of Balogun Toriola community, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Sheriff Adeojo for this transformative gesture. He noted that the community has long yearned for such intervention to address poor road access. “Our dear brother and council boss may Allah continue to be your guard and guide Sir” Alhaji Moshood prayed.
