Former Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan has congratulated the Christian Community in Oyo state, Revd. Dr. Elisha Olukayode Ogundiya and his family on his election as the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Oyo state Chapter.
Revd. Dr. Elisha Olukayode Ogundiya was elected as the Chairman of CAN Oyo state Chapter for 2025 running to 2030.
Engr. Olaniyan in a goodwill message personally signed by him and which was made available to newsmen on Tuesday appreciates the positive roles of CAN in maintaining a peaceful society, sustainance of moral values and support for constituted authorities.
He acknowledged that Revd. Dr. Elisha Olukayode Ogundiya’s election must be a testament of his integrity and Leadership qualities.
He enjoined the newly elected Chairman of CAN to continue to stand for peaceful coexistence, equity and justice within our societies and in public engagements and issues.
Engr. Olaniyan prayed that the tenure of the newly elected Chairman of Oyo state CAN will be known for remarkable peace, progress and tranquility.
