The lawmaker representing Inadan North East/South East federal constituency of Oyo State, Rep. Abass Adigun (Agboworin), on Sunday, extended his warmest congratulations to the Super Falcons on their historic 10th title win at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
In a statement signed by his Media Group and made available to journalists in Ibadan, the lawmaker hailed the team’s remarkable achievement as a testament to their dedication and commitment to excellence.
Recall the team staged a stunning comeback, beating host nation Morocco 3-2 in the final, showcasing their resilience and determination.

The two-term lawmaker, in the statement, equally commended the players, coaches, and support staff for their tireless efforts, which have paid off in the most spectacular way, resulting to the victory.

“The team’s achievement would inspire millions of Nigerians, particularly young girls and women, to pursue careers in sports.
