In a significant boost to the Sooro community, the Political Head of Sooro Local Council Development, Hon. Badmus Ismail Olaide, has successfully revived the long-abandoned Mikano generator and grader, marking a new era of development and progress for the area.

Heritage Echo Correspondence gathered that this initiative is part of a broader effort to improve infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for residents.

The revitalized grader has already commenced work on grading rural roads, a critical step towards improving accessibility and connectivity within the community.

While speaking with our correspondent, the council Boss, stressed that this development is expected to ease transportation challenges, facilitate the movement of goods and services, and ultimately contribute to the economic growth of the area.

However, Hon. Olaide reiterated that the grader’s deployment to grade rural roads starting from Bonke and Mogaji communities demonstrates a commitment to addressing long-standing infrastructure issues that have hindered the community’s development.

As the grading of rural roads continues, the community looks forward to further improvements and developments that will enhance their living conditions and open up new opportunities for growth and prosperity.

Equally, the Sooro Political Head revived the council Mikano generator, a significant achievement, as it will provide a reliable source of power for the council workers, most especially the administrative department and all other departments in the discharge of their duties in rendering essential services.
Residents of Sooro have expressed their gratitude to Political Head Olaide for his dedication to bringing positive change to their community.

This initiative is seen as a testament to his leadership and vision for the area’s future.
All hail the political head for productive foresight aligned with the sustainable development legacy of His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde in his recent State of the State address at the Oyo State House of Assembly last Friday.
